Overview

Headquartered in Belgium international food and beverages corporation sought to establish a new facility in Mexico, requiring a significant number of qualified candidates across various departments, including quality, manufacturing, packaging, logistics, and warehousing. To meet this demand, the CLIENT engaged PRODENSA to organize and execute talent acquisition events, such as recruitment fairs, to attract and secure the necessary talent. The project spanned six months and aimed to provide a flexible, cost‑effective recruitment solution tailored to the CLIENT’s specific needs.

Project Stages

Needs Analysis

PRODENSA initiated the project with a thorough needs analysis, identifying the CLIENT’s specific recruitment requirements for the new facility. This stage involved understanding the roles that needed to be filled, the qualifications required, and the CLIENT’s Budget constraints.

Onsite Labor Market Research

Following the needs analysis, PRODENSA conducted onsite labor market research to gain insights into the local talent pool. This research provided valuable information on the availability of qualified candidates and triggered creation of the right strategy for the upcoming recruitment events.

Event Organization

With the research completed and strategy defined, PRODENSA organized a series of talent acquisition events, including job fairs, specifically tailored to attract candidates for the roles needed at the CLIENT’s new facility. The events were designed to engage with potential candidates effectively, showcasing the available opportunities and the benefits of working with the CLIENT.

Recruitment Process

After the events, PRODENSA managed the recruitment process, including candidate selection and assessment. A mobile recruitment team was deployed to ensure that the CLIENT’s specific selection criteria were met as well as to provide ongoing support throughout the hiring process.

Challenges & Solutions

  • No Permanent Team Onsite: PRODENSA did not have a permanent recruitment team onsite, which posed certain challenge in organizing and managing the talent acquisition events.
  • Solution: PRODENSA addressed this by deploying a mobile recruitment team dedicated to organizing the events and conducting the selection process onsite. This flexible solution ensured that the CLIENT’s recruitment needs were met efficiently, even without a permanent local recruitment team presence.

Project Outcome

The intensive talent acquisition campaign led to the successful hiring of 415 candidates across the quality, manufacturing, packaging, logistics, and warehousing departments. The talent acquisition events were highly effective, attracting a large pool of qualified candidates and fulfilling the CLIENT’s staffing requirements for the new facility.
