Empowering Women
& Promoting Diversity in Tech:
DEI‑Focused Talent Acquisition Services

The case study demonstrates the effectiveness of PRODENSA’s DEI-focused talent acquisition services in the IT, R&D, and Engineering sectors. By prioritizing diversity and inclusion, PRODENSA helped the client overcome traditional gender biases and attract a wider range of talent, enriching the company’s workforce with diverse perspectives and expertise.

Overview

A global corporate IT, R&D, and Engineering CLIENT aimed to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) within their teams in Eastern and Western Europe. Thus, over the past five years, the CLIENT has been collaborating with PRODENSA to implement a talent acquisition strategy focused on empowering women and enhancing multinational diversity. The objective was to attract and hire to the company more women in tech and multinational engineering professionals and create an inclusive culture for all qualified specialists.

Project Stages

CLIENT Needs Understanding

PRODENSA began by gaining a comprehensive understanding of the CLIENT’s goals for diversity and inclusion, including the desire to attract more female and international talent. This stage involved identifying the specific roles and qualifications needed, as well as the cultural changes the CLIENT sought to implement within their organization.

Candidate Search, Selection, and Pre‑Screening

An extensive search and selection process was conducted to identify suitable candidates, with a particular focus on senior female professionals in IT and engineering. PRODENSA utilized its global networks to source candidates from diverse backgrounds, ensuring a broad pool of applicants. Pre‑screening was carried out to match candidates with the CLIENT’s requirements and DEI goals.

CLIENT Interviews and Hiring

The shortlisted candidates were presented to the CLIENT, who conducted interviews and made the job offers to the selected candidates. PRODENSA facilitated the interview process and provided ongoing support to ensure a smooth transition for the new hires.

Challenges & Solutions

The project faced several challenges, including the complexities of immigration processes for international hires and the scarcity of female candidates in tech roles due to societal biases. PRODENSA addressed these challenges by leveraging its expertise in international hiring and immigration, ensuring compliance and timely processing. Additionally, PRODENSA conducted targeted outreach and engaged in DEI advocacy to attract more female candidates to the roles.

Project Outcome

Since the beginning of the cooperation, the CLIENT has successfully hired tens of multinational and lady tech specialists. This initiative has significantly diversified the company’s talent pool, contributing to a more inclusive and innovative organizational culture. The recruitment service, supplemented with DEI, HR, compensation, market intelligence, and international hiring advisory, has been provided at no additional cost to the CLIENT, further enhancing the value of the partnership.
